Danielle Harrison is a British figure skater representing GB internationally around the world and she is member of the GB performance squad. Danielle has been Dundee’s Young Sportsperson of the year twice and she is a Chique Sport model. At the age of 6 Danielle began taking skating lessons. Since then she has competed at 7 national championships in her career. Her early successes include a bronze medal at the British Championships in the Advanced Novice category in 2011 and a silver medal at the same event the following year. She won her first ISU competition in 2012 in Graz Austria in the Advanced Novice category. In 2013 she got a silver medal at the British Junior Championships and in 2014 she became the Junior Ladies British Champion and qualified for representing GB at the World Junior Championships in Tallinn 2015 and Debrecen 2016. Another highlight in Danielle’s career includes representing GB at the European Youth Olympic festival 2015. She won a gold medal at the ISU 2015 Bavarian Open in the Junior Ladies category and a silver medal at the same event the following year. Danielle won the British Senior Championships 2015/16 at the age of 16 and went on to represent GB at the European Championships 2016 in Bratislava. During the 2015/2016 season she was ranked number 1 in the UK for Junior and Senior Ladies. Danielle earned her first ISU medal as a Senior Ladies skater in 2017, taking home bronze from the 34th Volvo Open Cup.
